The Emirates Franchise Association (EFA) is an independent entity founded by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce in 2014. It aims to empower entrepreneurs and develop the franchise model in the UAE. It has also received official recognition as the UAE's franchising authority from the World Franchise Council (WFC), consolidating its pivotal role in promoting franchising locally and globally. EFA seeks to develop the franchise sector by enabling UAE companies to expand internationally, while encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship as part of its strategic vision to support the national economy and enhance its sustainability.
